Roger Noble, an astronomer at Jodrell Bank Observatory, returns to reveal further fascinating secrets of the universe through illustrated talks designed for interested children as well as adults. In the evenings, Roger will set up his computer-guided telescope and guide our observations of the night sky. This week has been specially chosen to coincide with the annual Perseid meteor shower, giving the optimum chance of seeing shooting stars.
