Nature

The Othona Bradwell centre is 20 metres from the beach, nestling in a sheltered position on the other side of the sea wall. We are adjacent to a salt marsh, designated a site of special scientific interest, a shell, pebble and sand beach, a bird observatory, woods and a wild flower meadow. There is a vast range of birds to be seen at different times of the year, and the wildlife includes pheasants, rabbits, lizards, hares and badgers living around the site. The beach has sand for building castles, a multitude of different shells and lots of lovely mud!
